Cover for stylized magazine - I chose this image of a good friend of mine I did a shoot for and decided to use this image for a magazine cover demonstrating the style and overall urban feel to it. this image was shot near the la river in an alley where famous graffiti artists from la displayed their artwork.
for this layout, I wanted to keep it simple by telling his story of success and a picture to illustrate the time and moment of our interview. I highlighting a few key quotes in red just to show consistency with the color theme in the heading of the article. the image was shot at a bar in Hollywood
in this layout I wanted to try something different with layout and imagery. Since this layout is based on a trend guide, I kept the text next to the image to show cohesiveness and to keep the viewers eye focused on story and image.
